Orange Pound Cake

Ingredients
Zest from 2 Paramount Citrus orange
Juice from 3 Paramount Citrus oranges
1 lb. butter
1 lb. sugar
1 lb. flour
3 eggs
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
• Preheat oven to 350°F.
• Zest two oranges using a zester or a fine grater; set aside.
• Juice three oranges with a citrus reamer or juicer; set aside.
• In medium bowl, using an electric mixer cream butter with sugar.
• Mix in eggs and zest.
• Add flour, baking soda and baking powder and continue to mix.
• In another bowl, whisk together orange juice and vanilla extract.
• Add the flour mixture to the orange mixture, stir until a nice batter forms.
• Bake in a lightly greased cake pan at 350 F for about 45 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean and cake is golden brown.
